Hey!
Nice to meet you.

Not sure if you heard, but I’m Caroline. I’m from the distant lands of upstate New York and have been telling stories and making things since I was little. My work and career have always focused on the collective. I have always felt my best when I’m investing in the people around me.

I studied New Media and Digital Design at Fordham University with a minor in Peace & Justice Studies. I also completed an Honors Concentration in American Catholic Studies. I guess it is a bit weird, but I’m fascinated by the building of communities and have seen firsthand what a spiritual commitment to justice movements can provide.

While in college, I worked in the Brooklyn Housing Court supporting unrepresented tenants who were facing their first ever non-payment eviction cases. Working with a team of New Yorkers supporting New Yorkers in moments of need laid the foundation of the path I’m on now. I was lucky to work with a few clients multiple times, showing me firsthand the power of sustained community engagement.

These are the lessons that stay with me in my day-to-day work. With my colleagues, friends, neighbors, writing groups, and more, I strive to stay present and connected. Through all of my work, I want those around me to know I see them and am here for them through even the most intimidating fights we face.

My cat Pez, the day he limped into my arms on the sidewalk in Brooklyn. Love that guy so much.
